 ^{Beginning at the same point of Santa Maria del Popolo, you will traverse the same streets as the main character of the novel, Robert Langdon, passing through Piazza di Spagna, Palazzo della Propaganda Fede, Piazza Barberini, Triton fountain, Santa Maria Della Vittoria, the house of Barberini, the Jesuit church of St Ignatius, the Collegio Romano, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona,il Castel St. Angelo, Pasetto and St. Peter's.
As part of the full day tour you will stop for a delicious Italian meal in a restaurant.}

Da Vinci Code tour

This tour begins with a drive through Rome seeing some of the sights featured in both the Angels & Demons book as well as the Da Vinci Code. From St. Peter's Basilica & Castel St. Angelo to the Bernini sculptures in the Piazza Navona.  Then you head out the for the fortress-like papal palace that was the main site of intrigue in Da Vinci code.  The Pope's immense summer palace is in the center of Rome wine growing areas.  To get to the palace you pass by an ancient volcanic lake and through the rolling hills dotted with walled medieval towns. While the palace itself is not open to visitors the extensive gardens are.

An optional addition is a visit to a local winery and lunch in an exquisite ancient palace in this region.
